Get started using QuickBooks for your small business. Learn how to set up a company file and chart of accounts, navigate the home page, and use QuickBooks lists and forms.
We will cover how to use the online version only of QuickBooks. If you would like assistance with the desktop version, we have one-on-one business coaching services available.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops, but Mountain BizWorks can provide a limited number of laptops during the class.
Class will meet two times over two weeks, for a total of 6 hours of training.
Facilitator: Anna Priest, a lifelong Asheville native and graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill, discovered a unique passion for financial advising through her different career paths. Most notably, Anna has been an Environmental Scientist (www.altamontenvironmental.com) and Science Museum Executive Director (www.ashevillescience.org). Science and math have always been an enjoyable source of exploration and discovery for Anna. However, she recognizes that numbers are not for everyone. Anna enjoys helping her clients and students to learn tools to problem solve and make smart financial decisions for their businesses and organizations.
