Facilitated by Annie Price of Birds Eye. This 6-week cohort experience will aid new makers and creative entrepreneurs in integrating learnings from the workshops into their business practices.
In 18 hours over 6 weekly sessions, participants will gain a clear aerial perspective of their business operations, financials, research and development, and marketing strategies. They will leave the course with a comprehensive business plan, a clear vision for their business, and concrete tasks for future work.

This special Foundations Course is part of the Craft Your Commerce 2019 Series: Marketing for Makers being offered by Mountain BizWorks, Center for Craft, and UNC Asheville. The series includes an introduces an opening half-day event, four deep-dive workshops, and two special cohort courses for makers. This course is designed for new and beginning makers to take the tools, strategies, and resources gained from the series workshops and then integrate them into your business plan and practices to further your success. As such, registration for this course includes a pass to all of the 2019 Craft Your Commerce series (except for the Etsy workshop due to very limited seating).
