Mountain BizWorks is thrilled to join entrepreneurial growth engine Hatch Innovation Hub to provide on-site support services for regional entrepreneurs.
Hatch Innovation Hub – home to 20 companies and growing – works to empower WNC founders by uniting the region’s entrepreneurial support in one easy-to-navigate innovation hub. Mountain BizWorks’ mission is building a vibrant and inclusive entrepreneurial community in Western North Carolina by helping small businesses start, grow, and thrive.
With new offices at Hatch Innovation Hub, Mountain BizWorks will provide more accessibility for inclusive start-up and growth funding, providing on-site coaching, classes, lending consults, and other services.
“We’ve seen over and over that bringing entrepreneurs together makes sparks fly, and when you add in capital and other support resources – you really get lift off,” said Matt Raker, Mountain BizWorks’ Executive Director. “That’s why we’re so excited to be able to have a deeper presence within Hatch Innovation Hub and use that space to further broaden the pathways to entrepreneurship.”
Mike Baer, Hatch Board Chair, shared, “This area is increasingly becoming a hotbed for entrepreneurs, founders, startups, and scaleups. This flourishing entrepreneurial ecosystem is driven by a supportive community that fosters growth and innovation. In addition to being home to entrepreneurs, Hatch Innovation Hub also has a growing roster of other business resources and funders. Mountain BizWorks will be joining Impact WNC Fund, Pisgah Fund, Venture Asheville, 1 Million Cups, UNC Asheville, and others.
